Astana International Short Film Festval

About

The festival has the following goals:

• Formation of a cultural environment, space for creative searches, communication and training of beginner filmmakers;
• Search and support of young talents in the field of cinema;
• Search and support of independent filmmakers;
• Development and popularization of the Turkic-speaking culture;

Awards

The competition program determines the winners in the following categories:

• "Best feature film";
• "Best Documentary";
• "Best director";
• "Best Music Video";
• "Best Actor";
• “Best Video ART”
• "Special Prize"

Prize-winners of the Festival are awarded prizes-statues, as well as memorable gifts.

Rules

Any association of film lovers (both official and informal) or individuals who fill out the Application on the Festival website https://www.aisff.world and submit their film to the directorate can become festival participants. Age of participants from 14 years.

Requirements for entries: DCP, codec (preferably) H.264, container - MP4, MPEG. Video resolution is preferably 1920*1080 (Full HD, 1080p), but not less than 720x576. Sound frequency from 24 kHz and above. Audio compression in videos: MP3, WAV, AAC.
