The main idea of the film "Tied to the Sea" comes from its main characters - sailors who serve and work at Russia's largest processing ship. Their work, which is more than 9 months per year, takes place in difficult conditions in the Far East. Far from the shore and civilization, these people are constantly faced with various kinds of difficulties. And day by day in this struggle their "real" character is revealed. This was the starting point in the creation of the film. Show people's lives in an unusual environment for urban cintizens. Their struggle. Their aspirations. Their significance.
