Elizabeth is an orphan who discovers the existence of a parallel world in which those who pass away live another life. She comes across the opportunity to pass into this parallel reality. However the frontier between the two worlds is watched over by all-powerful guardians. Placing her own life at risk, as well as the safety of her lost family, she transgresses into this parallel reality, even believing there is no way back, so she can once again join her deceased parents and sister. Then she begins a hazardous journey in which she has to defy her fears to win.
