Directors Statement
I am a big fan of the Strugatsky brothers. I read this story as a child and it made a huge impact on my life. Inspired me to learn physics and to do science. The physical phenomena described in this story literally demanded to be shown on the screen. At a certain moment, I just felt like filming them.
