Asking Gog was born in Moscow in 1990. From an early age she studied drawing and art, as well as singing. A master of sports candidate in horse riding, as a teenager she worked in the stables and on television. She studied at the Russian University of Theatre Arts on E. B. Kamenkovich and D. A. Krymov’s directing faculty as an art director for the theatre, where she developed both as an artist and actress. Further on, she was admitted to VGIK onto the film directing course led by V. V. Menshov and V. I. Tumayeva. In 2014 she graduated VGIK with honours and Fedor’s Journey Through Moscow At The Turn Of The XXI Century is her graduation film.
