I hold a degree in Philology from Moscow Pedagogical State University (2023). I found my way into filmmaking because I enjoy telling stories more than analyzing them. The Screenwriting Workshop led by T.Sh. Gaziev at VGIK (2022) taught me never to abandon a character halfway through their journey, while the Directing Program under V.B. Akhadov at VGIK (2026) taught me to trust the team, even when everything seems to be going off script. In 2025, I took a film crew to Armenia for a production that unfolded across two countries in four shooting days, with sunshine and rain, Armenian spoken on set, and Marik the cat, who ended up rewriting one of the scenes. My graduation film, *Oryol* (*The Eagle*), grew out of that experience—from working with local actors and musicians to sharing lavash by the shores of Lake Sevan. I believe cinema is a dialogue, and I am genuinely delighted that this conversation begins here.
2026 / Eagle / Feature Film
