Biography
Valentina Elina is a director and producer. In 1998, she graduated from Film Studies Faculty of the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK), in 2000 – from Postgraduate School for Script Writers and Directors (workshop of V. Hotinenko). The diploma short film "Purse" participated in the competitive programs of international festivals in Karlovy Vary (Czech Republic), Mannheim (Germany), Dresden (Germany), etc. In 2004-2009 she worked as a director and chief editor for different channels (TVC, NTV, ORT, RTR, TNT and others). “Course of Dostoevsky” is her first feature length documentary.
