1954. The year of Joseph Stalin's death. The whole country lives in anticipation. And through this vast country, frozen in anticipation of an uncertain future, travels a little boy, Misha Chereisky. A restless dreamer, he has almost realised his dream of starring in a spy film. A new adventure awaits him as he and his mother embark on a long journey to be reunited with the boy's father, a pilot. On the train, Mishka discovers a real spy. He decides to stop him from committing a treacherous crime.
