DirectorBiography
He was born in 1989 in Guatemala. He studied to be an ethno-biologist. Graduated from the Casa Comal film school. Came to Moscow in 2011. From 2012 to 2017, he studied at VGIK (workshop of non-fiction films by B. Y. Karadzhev and E. I. Reznikov). Then he graduated from Marina Razbezhkina and Mikhail Ugarov's Documentary Film and Theater School. Pablo's works took part in festivals in different regions of Russia, Europe and Latin America. He won the category for best editing of a feature film in Marseille in 2012 and was also awarded a prize at the festival in Minsk: “For the director’s special approach to showing internal tension in society” in 2015. Pablo's feature film "Chillnobyl" received the V-A-C special prize at the Beat Film Festival in 2021.
