Biography
Mikhail Segal. Film director, screenwriter, author, actor and composer. Was born in 1974 in Oryol, Russia. After graduating from Director Faculty of Oryol Institute of Culture in 1994, entered Director Department of Russian State Institute for Cinematography (“VGIK”, Moscow) but dropped studies and started shooting video clips for famous Russian rock groups. From 2002 on, Mikhail also works in advertising. In 2006 at XXVIII Moscow International Film Festival, Mikhail presented his first full-length film. Award-winner and participant of Russian and international film festivals (including France, Germany, USA, Canada, UK and China). Published two books of prose.
