Biography
Lyudmila Potapova is a film director, screenwriter, theater and film actress. Before Lyudmila shot seven short films as a director, she acted as an actress in films, played in the theater, put on promo shows and was engaged in advertising. Among the acting film awards in her list are prizes from various International Film Festivals. In 2021, at the Smile, Russia IFF, L. Potapova's film was awarded the prize for the best short film "For the funniest film". Even at VGIK, at the directing department, she experimented in different genres: tragicomedy, ballad, fairy tale, mystical drama, musical cinema. Among her teachers are such masters as M. Agranovich, V. Arkhipov, V. Motyl, G. Poloka, A. Surikova
