Biography
Alexander graduated from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) and from the High Courses of Scriptwriters and Film Directors. He was a film director of the TV series’ first season named «The Day After» (Art Pictures Vision, 2013-2016). Alexander was the second director of the second unit of a military-historical movie «Stalingrad» (2013, Art Pictures Studio) directed by Fedor Bondarchuk. It was the first Russian movie in IMAX. The total box office was more than $ 68 million.
