Biography

Graduated from the Higher School of Journalism at the National Research University Higher School of Economics in 2012, specialising in Feature Film Directing under the tutelage of A. Fenchenko, A. Kott and V. Kott. In 2021, she graduated from the Mikhalkov Academy with a degree in Directing (workshop of V. Fenchenko and V. Khotinenko). In 2012, she won the pitching competition at the First Director's Educational Laboratory 'Kultburo', after which she directed the short film Not a Word About Your Mother. The film competed in Russian and international festivals, receiving several awards. Her short film Registrar Girl (2016) won the ARTKINO Film Festival Award for 'Best Film up to 15 Minutes' and was recommended for the Golden Eagle National Film Award. In 2022, she directed the documentary The Cormorant King, which won awards at the Radiant Angel (Best Debut Film), Arctic Open (Best Film for Children and Youth) and Lago Film Fest (Special Mention from the Children's Jury), among other festivals. She participated in the 2022 Siberia.doc laboratory with the PAPATANGO project.

Director, producer. Graduated from VGIK Film School (V. Naumov class) in 1991. His graduation film was nominated for a Student Academy Award (Oscar). His short film Men of Stone (2007) received a Special mention at the 64th Venice Film Festival and was awarded the best short film at the Gijón International Film Festival, the Cottbus Film Festival and the Pacific Meridian Film Festival. It was also longlisted for an Oscar and awarded the 'White Elephant' prize by the Guild of Film Critics of Russia.

Director, editor and screenwriter. Graduated from the School of Film and TV at the Higher School of Journalism at the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow, where she studied under Anna Fenchenko from 2009 to 2010 and under Anna Fenchenko and Nikolai Khomeriki from 2010 to 2011. She has directed two short fiction films, which have won awards at several national and international film festivals. As an editor, she worked on the online projects Live and Genetic Code, as well as editing a number of feature films, the TV miniseries What She Silent About (AMEDIA, commissioned by Channel 1), and the web series Aeronauts (Epic Media). In 2023, she participated in the 'Russia – A Look into the Future' competition organised by the Regional Cinema Support Fund. This opportunity enabled her to create her debut documentary, ' Mnogogrannik Bokuradze '.

Documentary film director, showrunner, creative producer and cinematographer. Member of the Union of Cinematographers and the Documentary Film Guild. Graduated from the VGIK film school. CEO of STAYA.DOK film studio. He has directed more than 15 documentaries, most of which have been widely distributed at festivals in Russia and around the world and are also available on the country's leading online cinema platforms. His films "Baba Anya" and "Armageddon" have been popular with internet audiences, with a combined viewership of over 1.5 million.
