A boy who fled the civil war and grew up in an orphanage became a friend and ally of the great Russian actors and directors: Lyubimov, Panfilov, Vysotsky, Tarkovsky. The main character in this film is Angel Gutierros. His life and reflections on the past and present, destiny and vocation. Why did the 60s end in defeat? Why did the "last war" never turn out to be the last? The authors have managed to get as close as possible to the protagonist and to enter his private world. In the centre of the story there is not only a portrait of the time, an attempt to record a passing nature, but also a living person with his illusions, mistakes, victories and defeats, and a difficult situation in life. The plot is based on the relationship between the author and his character.
