The impassive faces of old women wrapped in dark and red robes, light—colored bundles with babies, as if brought to the altar in anticipation of the lot - the artist Tatyana Necheukhina, raised in a Soviet family with Old Believer roots, tries to penetrate into the essence of life on her canvases. She buried her mother not so long ago. It would seem an irretrievable loss… But Necheukhina is sure that life is stronger than death. Each of us is a mirror of our parent. The film "Four Mirrors" is a lullaby for a mother who eventually became small and weak, a film about forgiveness, a film about getting rid of childhood complexes, a film about accepting the inevitable losses that a person faces at the end of life.
