Directors Statement

We all have dreams, but usually there is something missing to make our dreams come true. The Black box is that something. It helps to take the first step to your dream, to feel the taste of luck. One day I met a man who changed my life, taught me how to make my dreams come true. I wanted to share this discovery with the whole world, but I did not know how to do it. It would be boring to tell the story of my education in details, so I decided to create a capacious cinematic image that would be understandable to everyone without words. That is why there is almost no dialogues in the film. The Black box is a full-fledged hero (almost main character) of the film, the personification of my spiritual master. The Black box has the character of a skilled mentor. It is intriguing. It only provides tools. It is incomprehensible. It seems magical. It gives you confidence in yourself.
