Biography

Anastasia Saltykova is an actress, director, screenwriter and television presenter from the Rostov region. At the age of 15, she dreamed of becoming both an actress and a director. She later moved to Moscow and entered the acting department of the Institute of Russian Theatre. During her studies, she often staged her own scenes, sharpening her directorial eye from within her acting practice. She went on to work in theatre, film, television and large-scale immersive projects. She has received international acting awards for her role in the film Muse. As a travel show host, she wrote, filmed and presented stories about journeys around the world. Her encounter with Tuva inspired her first auteur film, Tu Va?.
