Biography

Sergey Potapov, director, screenwriter, Honored Artist of the Sakha Republic, winner of the Golden Mask national theater award, member of the Russian Filmmakers Union. Born in 1975 in the village of Suntar, Yakutia. Graduated from the acting department of the Republican College of Culture and Art. Since graduation from RATI-GITIS (Zakharov workshop) in 2003, has directed at the Sakha Academic Theater. Staged over 100 theater productions in Russia, France, and elsewhere.
