Biography
Sardana Markova is a director, VFX artist, and producer from Yakutia, Russia. Since childhood, she has been drawn to local scary stories and true crime. She worked as a jeweler, crafting pieces set with Yakutian diamonds, before finding her way into filmmaking through computer graphics. She completed the VFX Artist and Filmmaking programs at Moscow Film School. In 2026, she completed her debut short thriller The Last Bell and was accepted into the school's Directing program.
