'Seems Like Love' is a film that captures a feeling. Liza arrives in the St. Petersburg of her dreams. She is in the city of her dreams. Although she is only in her early twenties, she has already been hurt by life. St. Petersburg heals her with its beauty and love. This modest, slightly shy film envelops us in music and cosy courtyards, shielding us from the cruelty of real life. To some extent, it is an urban fairy tale where everything is slightly exaggerated, as in a dream or during first love. This film is exactly about that. It's about the kind of love that cannot be confined to a frame, happens instantly, and remains in the memory forever.
