Biography

Born in 1986 in Olenegorsk. In 2008 he graduated from the Faculty of Film Studies at the VGIK Film Institute (class of A. Medvedev). Since 2009 he has been working as a film editor on documentaries and popular science films for Channel One, Russia Channel, NTV, Culture, Nauka, My Planet, T24 and other channels. Worked as a promo producer at TV3 channel, also made some trailers for feature films. Since 2021 head of the on-air promo department of Nauka TV channel. In 2022 he made his debut as a film director, making a series of documentaries for Nauka and Live Planet "Aliens Among Us", dedicated to invasive species. However, space exploration and the history of cosmonautics became one of the main themes of his subsequent films: the series "A Guide to the Universe with Dmitry Pobedinsky", as well as the films "Back to the Moon" in 2023, "Angara" and "Surviving in Space" in 2024 are dedicated to it.
