International Documentary Film Festival.

About

UNAFF was originally conceived to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. UNAFF celebrates the power of documentaries dealing with human rights, environmental themes, women’s issues, protection of refugees, homelessness, racism, children, disease control, universal education, war and peace.

The program includes screenings of short films and documentaries.

There will also be organized in thematic shows related to human dignity issues.

  • UNAFF Grand Jury Award for Best Short Documentary $1000 
  • UNAFF/Stanford Video Award for Cinematography $500 
  • UNAFF/Stanford Video Award for Editing $500 
  • UNAFF Youth Vision Award $500

Rules

  • Documentaries only. No runtime limit.
  • No production year limit - but please no films that are available online for free.
  • No runtime limit
  • Rough-cuts or works-in-progress accepted. UNAFF cannot accept updated versions of a film less than 10 days before the start of the festival.

  • Download, print and fill out entry form;
  • Send DVD by mail with entry form.

You may also submit your entry form using withoutabox or FilmFreeway.
