About

The All-Russian contest of children's and youth video works "SVOI" is held in Veliky Novgorod as part of the All-Russian Youth Master Festival of historical and patriotic film "Molodoe Veche" with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.
The competition is aimed at young creative residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk republics, as well as children from Zaporozhye and Kherson regions of Russia, regardless of their current places of temporary residence. We will not only help them to show and gain knowledge and skills in the production of video content, but also become part of the Russian cultural society.

People from other regions of Russia are also welcome to participate. Separate nominations have been allocated for them, touching on the theme of special operation and attitude to what is happening in Donbass, about volunteers, heroes of Donbass and their families, about servicemen and mobilized men serving in the area of special operation.

The contest will be a learning experience. During the three months of the application stage a series of master classes from filmmakers on various topics related to film production will be published on the contest website. Masterclasses will be available only to those who apply.

Awards

The best video works will be awarded diplomas, and the winners will have the opportunity to participate in the competitive program of the All-Russian Youth Master Festival of historical and patriotic film "Molodoe Veche" and to visit Veliky Novgorod in autumn 2023 to participate in the festival "Molodoe Veche" and the film festival of historical films "Veche" Svetlana Druzhinina.

Rules

Participation in the contest is free.
To participate, send an application to kinoshkola-vn@mail.ru by 23:00 on January 31, 2023. The application form can be downloaded at https://vk.com/mveche or at mveche.ru.
Applications and video works submitted after the announced date will not be considered.
The works contradicting to the Russian legislation are withdrawn from the contest.
In case of rework of a video work sent to the competition a participant can send in another application. But no later than the specified deadline date.
In the application form it is necessary to indicate the surname, first name, patronymic of the author of the work, members of the creative team or film crew (a pseudonym can be indicated), e-mail, contact phone number, title of the work, timing and name of the nomination in which the work is presented.
One participant submits no more than two works for the contest.
Requests must be accompanied by an active link to a Yandex-disk or Cloud-Mail where the file with the work in any of the formats: mp4, avi, mov with a resolution of at least 600x480 px is stored. Works on download links from social networks are not accepted!

Jury and Organizers

The All-Russian contest of children's and youth video works "SVOI" is held by a private institution "Kinomuseum" with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives. Partners of the contest: All-Russian film festivals "Veche" and "Literature and Cinema", Novgorod branch of ONF and Yunarmia, All-Russian search movement, Ministry of Culture of Novgorod region.

The Youth Selection Jury consists of young filmmakers and representatives of youth NGOs.

The adult jury includes famous filmmakers as well as representatives of public associations.
