Born in 2000 to put focus on independent genre film, and since 2004 in the form of a competitive festival,Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre is today a well attended affair with over 200 films shown and 12.000 public and industry admissions each year.

Films cannot receive more than two prizes.
The Jury can give special mentions. Films cannot receive more than two special mentions.
Rules
- Festival open to fantastic, bizarre, science fiction and horror genres
- Films must have been produced after January 1st 2023
To submit a film to selection by the Festival Organizing Committee you must:
- Send screener online through the following platforms FilmFreeWay, Movibeta, ClickForFestivals o Festhome
- Send by e-mail to materialbars@gmail.com:
- the authorization letter, completed and scanned
- a photo of the film (scanned at 300dpi)
- synopsis and technical sheet
- poster (only feature films)
- online trailer (only feature films)
- Spanish subtitles or dialogue list
