Pula Film Festival

About

Even before the Cannes Film Festival was launched, the first Film Revue took place before a large audience in the Arena in 1938.

Program

• CROATIAN PROGRAMME. Displays Croatian films and Croatian minority co-productions. For the Croatian programme a public call is announced followed by the Festival Arts Council selection for inclusion in the programme.
• INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMME. Displays feature-length and short regional, European and world films selected at major international film festivals. Participation at the International programme is by invitation only.
• PULA CINEMATEQUE. The programme is dedicated to film classics that have marked the history of Pula Film Festival. The Projections are organised on the Brijuni Islands.
• RETROSPECTIVE. Flexible programme dedicated to the cinema production of a specific country, a specific author or other themed lead. 
• SHORT PULA.

Rules

The Out of Competition International Programme: 

1) Feature genre films (running time greater than 70 minutes)

2) Documentary films with a theme of history of film (films about directors, actors, film phenomena, etc.)

3) Drama series and documentary series (pilot or the first two episodes)
