The festival is very important for the critics and the Portuguese market. Fantasporto has developed into THE Portuguese festival. Critics consider the Portuguese festival to be interesting and diverse. Festival Director Mário Dorminski is also a distributor with good relations to Spanish broadcasters.

Additional Information
The festival will cover the transport expenses of the feature film prints, except when the films shall be sent to another Film Festival per request of the producer. Concerning the short films the transport of the prints must be covered by the producers/directors. The return will be paid by the festival.
