The Philadelphia Film Festival is an annual eleven day festival featuring screenings of international and domestic films, retrospective tributes, forums and panels, and receptions. Works by local filmmakers are showcased during a local festival of independents, a festival within the larger festival. The 2011 Festival included more than 250 screenings of 142 domestic and international narrative, documentary and short films.
