Normandy and the World of Art

About

LA NORMANDIE ET LE MONDE DE L'ART – International Film Festival of Vernon and Giverny - take place each year in Vernon and around. The aims are:

• To emphasize film directors who bring originality and new thing to the cinematographic field, 
• To promote dialogue between different cultures by giving the public the opportunity to discover his region and foreign countries through movies, 
• To make easier the access to the cinema to everybody, to create exchange and conviviality, 
• To give the opportunity to young and senior citizen to take part to artistic projects,
• To make easier the intergenerational dialogue,
• To make easier exchanges between film directors of the world and of Normandy. To stimulate co-productions.

Official selection has different sections:

• Competition "The World of Art",
• Competition "Normandy",
• Youth section (competition).

The festival reserves the right to change the different sections, to organize other sections, homage and retrospective, in association with his partners.

Rules

• All movies can participate to the selection, if they are finished during the year of the festival and the two years before. All production (fiction, animation, documentary) are accepted.
• Feature films: from 60 min. Youth Short Films: 3−20 minutes, "La Normandie" or "The World of Art" Short films: up to 59 min
• Registration is made online on the registration platform filmfestplatform.com (from 15 April), or directly by email (registration2017@lanormandieetlemonde.org) or by post.
• Subtitles language: french
