It is a forum that reflects the broad spectrum of styles and issues en vogue in film schools. It also provides an opportunity for emerging filmmakers to network directly with their counterparts from other countries and to connect with audiences, often for the first time. The festival screenings are open to the public and Munich audiences are renowned for their enthusiastic support of the participants.
All films selected – foreign or German – will participate in the same competition in two different categories: feature and documentary.
Various prizes will be awarded by our sponsors and international juries at a ceremony.
Film school festival coordinators are invited to submit films by their students via the online platform reelport.com. Every film school can upload a maximum of 70 minutes of film material. Students may not submit films on their own. Exercise as well as diploma films completed in 2014 or 2015 up to 30 min. may be entered.
