Meetings in Siberia

About

International Festival of Documentary Films “Meetings in Siberia” is held in Novosibirsk. There is no competition for films, but  the festival has prizes of honour (no money)  for the best shorts (takes) and best camera works. The main goal of the festival is to inform the Siberian audience about various  processes taking place in the world as well as to show the Siberian realities and to create conditions for  fruitful  and collaborative dialog of documentary filmmakers. As soon as the festival is not based on the competition it is aimed at helping the professionals to get information.  The distinctive feature of the festival is communication , opportunity to create new projects on national and international levels. Seminars, workshops and trainings play a very important role in  “Meetings in Siberia”.

Rules

• Documentary films made during last 5 years
• Films under 60 minutes in length
• Films must not be available online

Documents and required materials:

• Fill out an online entry form;
• Send a link to a downloadable screener.

The Festival can provide the guests with visa support, meetings and seeing-off at the airport as well as the organizational help during the festival.
