MEDINA FILM FESTIVAL

About

Festival dedicated to short films of all categories, including 35 mm and digital formats, as well as projects for future shorts. Competitions at national and international levels. Support for young filmmakers of full-length films and for international independent films. Film series dedicated to the best movies, winners of leading festivals around the world. Discussions, exhibitions, music video contests and a look back at classic films.

International competition:

• 1 Prize 2000 € & Roel;
• 2 Prize 1000 € & Roel;
• Youth Award for best short film, endowed with € 500 and Roel (awarded by a jury composed of young volunteers and sponsored by the Dept. of Youth of the Town Hall of Medina del Campo);
• Freak Agency Distribution Award.

Rules

International competition:

• Any shooting format will be admitted, silent movies or not. Must have been produced after 1st of July of 2022. The works must be original, and should have never participated in this festival before.
• Films length can be a maximum of 30 minutes, including credits.
• A maximum of 3 works per author or group of authors.
