About

The festival was started in 1998 in Madurai in response to the nuclear test in Pokran and subsequent war fever that hit India and Pakistan.

Essentially we are activists who believe that media has a role to play to bring people together for a positive interaction!

This festival is a space for such democratic expressions for both the filmmakers as well the audience.

Non-competitive festival.

Rules

• There is no restriction on theme,
• There is no restriction on the duration for documentary films,
• Duration limit for short films — 20 min
• Films should have been produced within the last 24 months.

Documents and Other Requisite Items

• Filled and signed entry form,
• DVD copies of the film: 2,
• DVD containing press kit: synopsis of the film, info about the filmmaker/s, stills, posters,
• Press kit in printed form (hard copy).
