Last Hope International Film Festival (LHIFF) is an international festival dedicated to short narrative films. The festival was founded in 2025 and takes place in Da Nang, Vietnam.
The festival brings together independent filmmakers from around the world and presents a curated selection of short films to an international audience.
Films up to 25 minutes in length are eligible for submission.
The festival program includes official screenings of nominated films and awards presented in several categories.
Films from all countries are welcome. Films in languages other than English must include English subtitles.

The festival jury reserves the right not to award a prize in a specific category or to reassign a film to another category if it better fits the film’s genre or artistic form.
Rules
Films must have been produced on or after January 1, 2024.
Only short narrative (live-action) films are accepted.
Maximum film length: 25 minutes.
Films from all countries are welcome.
Films in languages other than English must include English subtitles.
Multiple submissions of the same film are not allowed.
Films previously submitted to earlier editions may be resubmitted only if significantly updated.
By submitting a film to the Last Hope International Film Festival, the submitter grants the festival a non-exclusive right to publicly screen the film as part of the official festival program.
The festival reserves the right to use film stills, excerpts, trailers, and promotional materials from submitted films for festival promotion, marketing, and media coverage, including use on the festival website, social media, and press materials.
The festival jury reserves the right to reassign a film to a different category if it better fits its genre or style.
The festival reserves the right to change the program or screening schedule if necessary.

Jury and Organizers
The festival jury consists of filmmakers, artists, film critics, film industry professionals, and members of the festival organizing committee.
All decisions made by the jury and festival organizers are final.
The organizers of the Last Hope International Film Festival (LHIFF) reserve the right to make necessary changes to the festival program, schedule, and regulations if required.
By submitting a film to the festival, the submitter confirms that they hold all rights to the submitted film and agree to the festival’s rules and regulations.
