La.Meko

About

Since 2001 filmmakers from around the world are invited to send their works to the Short Film Festival La.Meko wich takes place yearly in the beautiful city of Landau in South/West Germany.

The La.Meko Festival wants to be a stage for all kinds of short movies and the team takes care that the programme is a delicate mix of entertainment and cultural challenge across all genres. The festival is also known for its enthusiastic audience and its outstanding moderation.

Awards

There are about six awards (250€ − 500€). Three of them – including the regional price – are chosen by a jury and the rest by the votes of the audience.

Rules

• All Movies with a maximal lenght of 30 minutes can take part in the Festival.
• Two submissions maximum per director (please use separate entry forms for each movie).
• No promotional contents.
• The film was not submitted for the festival yet.

Sunmission procedure:

• Fill out an entry form
• Send a link to an online screener or send DVD via post mail.
• NO file-transfer links like wetransfer, dropbox etc.

Selection Media Type: online, DVD

Screening Media Type: Blu-Ray, DVD or HD Media-file (e.g. h264).

Subtitles: English and/or German
