About

The festival of scientific and industrial cinema of Siberia "Kremniy" is a space for cooperation between science, arts and technology. Its product will be a demonstration of the most impressive scientific trends and achievements in the format of films and animation.

The festival originates from a round table called "Science cinema in Novosibirsk: ideas for a development concept" within the framework of the VIII International Forum for Technological Development "Technoprom-2021".

The participants of the session proposed to the Novosibirsk region their partnership in the development of scientific cinema and animation, cognitive products, and the aesthetics of everyday life. This is how the idea of ​​creating a scientific film festival was born.

Rules

• All films must be devoted to scientific topics, filmed by Russian directors at studios located in the regions of Siberia and the Far East, and completed after January 1, 2019.
• The production date is determined by the copyright notice on the film or video copy.
• All films with dialogues require Russian subtitles if the original language of the film is not Russian.
• Recommended copy formats for display: video in avi, mpeg, mkv format with H264 compression codec and bit rate of at least 10 Mbps, image size from 1280x720 to 1920x1080 pixels, or 2048x858.
