About

KinEst Fest is the new festival of Eastern and Central Europe films, organized by Dolina Miru association.
An opportunity to discover and enhance the masterpieces of an increasingly original and innovative cinematography.
From Poland to Serbia, from the Czech Republic to Lithuania, a wide and fascinating overview that tells us about society and changes through the eyes of a generation of directors and authors, hybrid and open to cultural and stylistic contaminations.
For the first edition, the films in competition were voted directly by the public. For the second edition, which will start in March 2022, the prize of the qualified jury is added to the public prize.
The program includes a section of Central Eastern European films in competition, as well as special events, retrospectives, workshops and masterclass, book presentations and cinegastronomica meetings.

Rules

Film productions from Central and Eastern European countries are admitted to the selections, free of charge. Proposals must be submitted until January, 31.

ATTENTION PLEASE: ADMITTED IN COMPETITION ONLY SUBMISSIONS from Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Serbia, Hungary, Austria, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo, Greece, Albania, Moldova, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia.

For the selection of the films in competition, works of less than 50 minutes are not allowed.

ATTENTION! No fee is paid for the screenings at the festival.
