Kaohsiung Film Festival International Short Film Competitionis dedicated to discovering short films with creative styles and unique perspectives, to encourage new filmmaking talents and also to stimulate cultural exchanges.

Rules

Kaohsiung Film Festival International Short Film Competition.

• Films completed after: June 1st, 2024.
• Maximum duration 25 min.
• Films from all countries are accepted.
• Screening format: DCP, MOV ProRes422HQ or H.264.
• Accepts all genres.
• Films declared in other festivals are not accepted.
• Subtitles in Chinese or English.

Kaohsiung Film Festival International VR Competition.

•  Films completed after: January 1st 2024
• Maximum duration 15 min.
• Films from all countries are accepted.
• Screening format: 360 MP4 viewable on HTC VIVE or Samsung Gear VR.
• Accepts all genres.
•  Premiere status : Films must have a Taiwan premiere status and must NOT have previously been shown publicly on the Internet.
