The International category is for all films and television pilots made by filmmaker(s) studying in an institution of higher education outside of the United States. Both short and feature length films and pilots are accepted. 

Awards

  • First place in each category.
  • A grand jury prize
  • An audience choice prize.
  • A screenplay prize.

Rules

  • Student works only.
  • No requirement for completed by date.

Documents and Other Requisite Items

  • Fill out entry form,
  • Pay entry fees,
  • Send DVD with submitted film by mail or download file via Withoutabox system.

The U.S. Undergrad - Animation category is for all films fall within the category of Animation, made by filmmaker(s) studying at the undergraduate level in an institution of higher education in the United States. Both short and feature length films are accepted.

The U.S. Undergrad - Experimental / Spectrum / Anything Else category is for all films that fall within the genre of Experimental / Spectrum / Anything Else, made by filmmaker(s) studying at the undergraduate level in an institution of higher education in the United States. Both short and feature length films are accepted.

  • Late Deadline — $20
  • Super Late Deadline — $30

The screenplay category is for scripts composed by undergraduate student writers. Both short-form and long-form screenplays (including television pilots) are accepted.
