About

Indonesian Short Film Festival 2016 (ISFF 2016) is a short film festival hosted by SCTV as part of the SCTV 26th anniversary activities. SCTV as a media that cares and consistent in broadcasting national films is called to participate in providing creative space for Indonesian film makers as form of appreciation.

This event will be contesting the work of 5-15 minutes short film from across Indonesia and international filmmakers which will be assessed by competent jury who are Acha Septriasa (Indonesian actress / filmmaker), Dennis Adishwara (Indonesian actor / filmmaker), Anggy Umbara (Indonesian filmmaker), Sidi Saleh (Indonesian filmmaker and winner Venice International Film Festival 2014), and the jury from SCTV.

Awards

ISFF 2016 winners are entitled to receive a gift from SCTV, which are:

• Cash of 25 million rupiah to the winner of each category, except the winner of the International Short Film
• A cash amount of USD 1,500 to the winner of The Best International Short Film
• Cash of 15 million rupiah for The Most Favorite Short Film winner basing on the film that has most likes
• Being broadcasted in a series of programs of SCTV 26th Anniversary
• Opportunity to be produced as a TV-movie and movies
• Trophy and Certificate

The contested categories in Indonesian Short Film Festival 2016 are:

• The Best Drama Short Film
• The Best Thriller Short Film
• The Best Comedy Short Film
• The Best Action Short Film
• The Best Animation Short Film
• The Best International Short Film
• The Most Favourite Short Film (audience choice on www.vidio.com)

Rules

• The category of International Short Film must be produced outside Indonesia territory, by people who live outside the territory of Indonesia, and being registered outside Indonesia territory.
• The registered short film has the duration between 5 – 15 minutes.
• The shortfilm is mandatory to be in color, not black and white.

Registration is done by uploading the short films and trailers in the full duration of 30 seconds in www.vidio.com, and sends the film in accordance with the instructions contained in www.vidio.com and www.sctv.co.id.
