International Ethnographic Film Festival.
About
Festival is inviting the producers and filmmakers to submit ethnographic films in its broadest sense in order to bring face to face different forms of observational cinema generated by both the research's and the filmmaker's interest.
Films made by individual researchers, institutes, museums, university and faculty departments and independent filmmakers are welcome and the films of other media producers as well.
There are the following sessions along the Main program in the schedule: Student films and Special program. The jury appointed by the organizer will award the best student film.
The festival has following programs: Student films, Regular program and a Special program.

Rules
All films and videos dealing with ethnology, anthropology, sociology or cultural studies in a wide sense, made not more than three years before the actual festival DEF, are eligible.
Festival accepts preview copies through web service: Vimeo, Dropbox, FTP, etc. .

Days of Ethnographic film (DEF) is the member of the network CAFFE (Coordinating anthropological film festivals in Europe) organized by Slovene Ethnological Society and partners: Slovenian ethnographic museum and Scientific Research Centre of Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
