About
FEST — New Directors New Films Festival was born out of the necessity to create a space where new and up-and-coming filmmakers could screen their work. Among many other objectives was the will to promote already established names alongside new one, in order to open new paths for new talents to break through.

Rules
- It is permitted for the applicant to submit more than one film (in separate entries);
- The short and medium film competition accepts short and medium length films made by directors with no more than 35 years of age
- The films must have been concluded after the 1st of January 2023 and they must not have been screened in previous editions of FEST — New Directors New Films Festival.
Documents and Other Requisite Items
- Film submission can be entirely made online through the Online Entry Form at the website. In this case, the film will be sent via a link submitted to the form itself.
- Submission is also available via Filmfreeway, Festhome, Filmfestivallife, Clickforfestivals;
- Three or more recent pictures of the movie;
- Picture of the director;
- Brief biography of the director;
- Synopsis.
Selection Media Type: any secure internet service that does not require immediate file download (Vimeo, Youtube, Dropbox, Google drive, etc).

Subtitles language: English or Portuguese
