Euganea Film Festival

About

The cultural association Euganea Movie Movement was born in 2005 and it is located in Monselice, a little town not far from Padua. Its aim is to promote events and classes on cinema to increase the value of the Colli Euganei territory. The different events which take place during the year are addressed to the promotion and diffusion of short films and documentaries and to enhance Italian and foreign filmmakers productions. The main activity of the association is the organization of the Euganea Film Festival, an international short film and documentary festival which takes place every year in July. Presenting sections concerning Italian and foreign short films and documentaries as well as organizing the shooting in the most evocative areas of the villages involved and hosting directors is the organization’s task. During the year Euganea Movie Movement plans cultural evenings dealing with the complex world of cinema in collaboration with other cultural realities present in the territory or with local municipalities. Since a few years “A corto di cinema” evenings have brought our festival in different places and towns in our area and thanks to this initiative we have been able to develop new cultural synergies.

• Best Short Movie
• Best Documentary Movie
• Best Animated Short Movie
• "Cinemambulante" Award​, that will be given to the best work that deals with issues concerning environment, legality and work.
• "Veneto Movie Movement" Award​, that will be given to the best work produced by an author or a producer from Veneto or related to the regional territory.
• "Piccola Euganea" Award given to the best animated short aimed at a youthful audience.

Rules

• Every author can submit up to maximum two works;
• Films produced in or outside Italy after 1st January 2022

Documents and Other Requisite Items

• Fill out entry form,
• Send DVD (Blu­ray or a USB device) with submitted film by mail or provide a link and password (if present) for the online streaming (e.g. Vimeo, YouTube and other streaming websites).
