About
Dresdner Schmalfilmtage is a competitive film festival. It presents films that move across the borders of art and trash. Avant-garde, experimental and trash films are invited to participate in the program.
Program includes a 8mm and 16mm short film competition (20min), a competition of Super 8 films that deal with an assigned theme, and non-competitive screenings.
Awards
1st Price: 300€
2nd Prize: Subsidy for research in international archives in the amount of 200€
Rules
The films have to be produced in combination with 8 or 16 mm formats, in an independent production since 2023, and are not longer than 20 minutes.
