Years running: 4 (since 2023)
About

Submit your short film (15 minutes max.) to the semi-professional competition at the Ciné-Mantes festival. This category is free and will showcase a selection of 10 films to be screened on May 2, 2026, hoping to win over the audience. The audience will vote to award the "Selection Prize," giving the winner the opportunity to compete the following day (May 3) in the professional competition, before the jury of the 4th edition, the critics' jury, and the city of Mantes-la-Ville. The semi-professional category aims to give aspiring filmmakers the chance to meet film professionals and experience the rigor required by this industry.
Submit your short film (15 minutes max.) to the professional competition of the 4th edition of the Ciné-Mantes festival. This paid category (€10) is aimed at filmmakers, distributors, and producers and seeks to showcase the best short films of the year on the theme of music before the jury of the 4th edition, the critics' jury, and the city of Mantes-la-Ville. Various prizes will be awarded, but the professional competition will primarily provide crucial networking opportunities between the jury, various professionals in the film industry, a diverse audience, and the teams behind the films in competition.
