Years running: 32 (since 1991)

International Children and Teenagers Film Festival.

This festival wishes to promote films that develop the youth's artistic awareness as well as to make these films available and accessible to a larger audience through the distribution and cinema theaters networks and finally to help our prize-winning films in their distribution process in France. The Cine Junior festival also organizes meetings and conferences with all those interested in the cinematography for young people: directors, distributors, teachers and a larger audience of adults and children.

Ciné Junior is the biggest youth film festival in France: every year its audience overcome 25 000 children.

  • THE CICAE PRIZE (The International Confederation of Art Cinemas) offers the support of the independant cinema theaters network.
  • Feature Films prize — The French distribution company that has bought the distribution rights commits itself to release the award- winning film in Paris and in the provinces within two years following the prize giving.
  • THE YOUNG AUDIENCE PRIZE will be awarded to a feature film in competition by classes of children from 10 to 15 years old.
  • THE GRAIN A DEMOUDRE FESTIVAL PRIZE is an honorary prize awarded to a feature film in competition by the young representatives of this festival. The awarded film will also enter the selection of the next edition of their festival.
