Shortcup World Film Festival

About

The Shortcup Film Festival is the world cup of short films. The selected films are distributed in 4 days of exhibition, where each film represents their country and the popular jury votes definies the final round where the winner is chosen in the fifth day.

The festival's main purpose is to merge a competitive film showcase with the casual ambient of a bar; this year, in it's 6th edition it will happen in 4 cities simultaneously, those cities are:

- São Paulo, Brasil
- Bogotá, Colômbia
- Monterrey, México
- Buenos Aires, Argentina

Awards

The festival will be held for five (5) days, four (4) days of such exclusionary character, where each day will feature the meeting of two (2) groups of one and a half hour(1h30m). The winner of each group will appear on the last day of competition, in order to decide the winner.

The winner will receive:

• 1 year of free service at Festhome.

Rules

• The film was produced after the 1st of January 2017, 
• Maximum overall lenght of 23 minutes
• The film is not available on the web,
• No religious indoctrination material of any kind.
• Films selected in previous editions of the festival wont be allowed to compete.
• Each country has the limit cap of 3 films selected, in order to avoid hegemony.
• Register your work via online-platform Festhome.
• Films wich dont have portuguese as theyr main spoken language shall be subtitled, the subtitles should be sent in annex as .SRT
• We have partnership with a local hostel network, thus, upon previous warning we can fix accomodations for any participants who want to come and watch it live.

Subtitles: Portuguese, Spanish or English (at least)
