Rules
Animated works of any nationality made in 2020, 2021 and 2022 are eligible to participate.
Works already submitted to past editions of the Festival will not be considered, with the exception of follow-up seasons of TV series and works previously submitted under another category that have been subjected to a different type of development.
Works may be submitted by registering online at the festival web site.
Works in English or with English subtitles.

Animated feature films with the following technical, artistic and narrative characteristics are invited to participate in this category: animated feature films with a minimum length of 40 minutes; characters created using a frame-by-frame technique; works, 75% of the total length of which is composed of characters and animation (the Motion Capture technique alone will not be deemed valid).
Animated short films with the technical, artistic and narrative characteristics for a potential (and intended) television programme are invited to participate in this category. Its purpose is to promote the inclusion of animated short films in broadcasters’ schedules.
This category includes all Interactive Multimedia Works made for fixed and mobile consoles that comply with the following PEGI (Pan European Game Information) classification requirements: PEGI 3, PEGI 7, PEGI 12, PEGI 16.
Pilots and zero episodes of animated TV series representing a complete narrative synthesis and with the technical, artistic, and content features of the series to be created must be submitted to TV Pilots and not to any of the categories subdivided according to target audience.
Fall under this category all television series dedicated to children and teens exclusively or partially achieved through techniques of live action.
Animated TV Series (12+). Pilots and zero episodes of animated TV series must be submitted under the Category: TV Pilots.
Animated TV Series (7 − 11 years). Pilots and zero episodes of animated TV series must be submitted under the Category: TV Pilots.
Animated TV Series (6 years and under). Pilots and zero episodes of animated TV series must be submitted under the Category: TV Pilots.
