The autonomous non-profit organization in the field of arts development "Festival Plus" presents an annual culturally significant event dedicated to strengthening friendly relations and greater understanding of each other through the art of cinema. 

«Bridges» American- Russian international film festival, starting in 2022, will be held offline simultaneously in Russia and America. viewers of the two countries will have a unique opportunity to watch films of the festival's competition program at the same time, participate in discussions, express their opinions, and ask questions to directors through a video bridge. the broadcast of the discussions and the competition program takes place live on the youtube channel and in social networks. this will give viewers from other countries an opportunity to join the discussion.

The bridges film festival gives directors the opportunity to participate in the festival competition, show their work to an audience not only in russia and the USA, but also in other countries, hear reviews about the film and meet colleagues from all over the world.

all participants who have passed the competitive selection receive certificates and laurels of official selection.

Rules

• the festival has no restrictions on genres.
• duration no more than 150 minutes (exceptions are possible). the
• production date of the film is not more than 2 years before the day of the festival.
• the film does not have to be a premiere.
• all materials must not violate the laws of the Russian federation and the USA, as well as the moral and ethical norms of humanity.
• all participants submit applications online on the festival's website or on aggregator sites.
• Russian and English-language films from other countries must provide copies with English and Russian subtitles.
