The main goal of the festival “Russian Cinema Evenings in Bordeaux” is to attract international attention to contemporary cinema in Russia and France, as well as to give young directors the opportunity to present their works.

The purpose of the “In Ciné Veritas” competition is to show short pieces of work by students of Russian film schools and authors who have created works in the framework of their debut work or a separate project. There is no age limit.

Within the framework of the festival “Evenings of Russian Cinema in Bordeaux” special programs will be held aimed at establishing cultural exchange and cooperation between representatives of Russian and French filmmakers.

Jury and Organizers

Для определения победителей, согласно регламенту конкурсной программы, формируется жюри, включающее в себя российских и французских деятелей искусства, общественных и политических деятелей. Работа жюри осуществляется непосредственно на сеансе. Решение жюри не разглашается до церемонии закрытия фестиваля во Франции.
