Biography

Eugene Orlov was born in 1983, in Luhansk (Ukraine). In 2016 he graduated from the Film directing department at the Russian State University of Cinematography named after S. A. Gerasimov (VGIK).

Directors Statement

For me, this is a story about individuals dividing others into categories - political, religious, national ones. Russian people have gone through such events many times in its history, and these have always led to murderous conflicts that are senseless. Further, there is a feeling that people who we now see in common places such as the metro , at concerts might find themselves in different sides tomorrow. Even though we are different - and everyone has the right to stand up for themselves.
